Meet and Greet Connects GH Students and Faculty
This week, almost forty students and faculty gathered for a meet and greet event in the McMaster University Club’s Great Hall.
Students had the opportunity to meet with course directors of some of the electives offered in the Winter term, gain valuable insight into their scholarly paper or thesis topics, and discuss ideas for their summer practicum.
“Many students have expressed their enjoyment of the program already,” says Global Health Program Coordinator David Oldenburger. “They’re excited about developing friendships and making connections at McMaster and Maastricht, and they’re thinking ahead to exchanges to the Netherlands and Norway,” he says.
Following the annual team-building canoe trip, which took place earlier this month, the meet and greet offered another opportunity for people in the program to connect now that courses have started.
