In the news: MSc Global Health recognized as standout program
Following the news that McMaster University has ranked among the world’s top 75 universities, by the internationally respected 2020 Times Higher Education rankings, the MSc Global Health program was recognized as a standout program in a recent Toronto Star Magazine review of Ontario universities.
Earlier this year, the Times Higher Education ranked McMaster second in the world for its impact globally and at home, and its deep commitment to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). McMaster received a second-place ranking in the Good Health and Well-Being category, recognizing numerous programs, including the MSc Global Health, which received the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) Panorama Award for Outstanding International Education (Academic category) in 2015.
What makes the MSc Global Health program unique is its integration of the SDGs into the curriculum, its focus on experiential learning, and the delivery of next-generation digital learning environments.
“We are delighted that the Master of Science in Global Health program continues to receive recognition,” says Andrea Baumann, Associate V-P, Global Health and director of the MSc Global Health program. “From the beginning, we have strived for innovation in our curriculum design and our success lies in our commitment to global partnerships and collaboration in research and learning.”
