How we’re working to make the Sustainable Development Goals a reality
The Global Health Office is pleased to release our latest annual report for 2018-2019. The theme of this year’s report is sustainability in global health.
Earlier this year, the Times Higher Education Impact Ranking put McMaster second globally out of more than 450 universities, based on our deep commitment to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These goals are designed to address the most serious challenges of our time—and they are fundamental to the work we are doing in the Global Health Office.
We have prioritized issues including racism, migration, climate change, and Indigenous health through our activities, events, and programming.
With our growing network of global partners, we are committed to working together in support of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. We recognize the responsibility we have as universities to develop solutions and prepare future innovators with the skills that will enable them to contribute to achieving the SDGs.
